When I open the app, feed page often goes back to post from 2-3 days ago.
Has anyone else encountered this issue like me? Or How to fix it?

It loads whatever comes first from your relays. Then just press the home button to go to the top.
Is it me or does Amethyst populate notes with lag when you're scrolling your follows?
Yes, it loads quotes and images on demand.

No, by design. Otherwise we would need to use much more memory and disk to preload everything.
In my opinion this is a bad tradeoff. Can users do anything to make it less aggressive? I would wait a few minutes before using the app if it meant this wasn't going to happen.
How much lag are you seeing between messages? Loading should be really fast these days. It's practically unnoticeable. And when it loads, there are animations to expand of reposition each note, image or video.
