I miss dnd nights
Discussion
I use one billion parameter models locally to play one shot campaigns, played 8 hours of Offworlders the other night
Can we make it happen? My DM stopped running my favorite Star Wars game as too many players left and I’m stuck in my own fantasy world.
Could definitely do it virtually somehow
Baldurs Gate 😉
I know nostr:nprofile1qqsw4v882mfjhq9u63j08kzyhqzqxqc8tgf740p4nxnk9jdv02u37ncpzfmhxue69uhhqatjwpkx2urpvuhx2ucpzdmhxue69uhhyetvv9ukzcnvv5hx7un8xpf478 is a D20 fan - who else can we bring to the game?
Me too.
Same… I’m holding onto all my old books in hopes that my kids will want to play someday
I've never played but I've always wanted to
I wish I'd ever had them. An online revival seems reasonable. I don't even know how to play though. So maybe it isn't reasonable?
Learning how to play is reasonable, I'm learning now. Maybe there's a Guild Hall near you?
I was thinking more about playing with people on Nostr when I wrote this. In person is likely easy given the city I live near.
I've always wished I had experienced them. Maybe it isn't too late.

Me too, but that was long long ago. Just started playing Minecraft 1.12.2 Java with the Yogbox Reloaded modpack with my 14 year old twins… played many years ago with their 26 yr old brother, so fun to revisit a good old modpack. Modded Minecraft is so much more fun than vanilla is, and Yogbox has so many directions to go! Learning to manipulate the world and create with magic, building machines and systems along with dynamos or reactors, exploring and interacting with half a dozen cultures, starting and developing your own city/civilization and conquering your neighbors… learning agriculture or bee breeding, finding fossils and extracting DNA to develop dinosaur eggs, and on and on! :)
I miss sleeping at home at night instead 😓🤣
