Arguing ideological terms is mental drama.

The question I look to answer in every interaction is simple:

Does the person I am speaking with want to cooperate or do they want to dominate?

Exactly ✌

It seems to be everywhere too, there are those who want to have a discussion with you and hear your point of view, and then present theirs in an engaging way and those who are out to be difficult on purpose, for the sake of being an a-hole.

Yes definitely. I used to be one of those people.

I can assure you at the time I was not trying to be an a-hole. I was just unconscious πŸ«₯

The good part is that you are aware of what you were and how you’ve improved 😁 not many people are so self aware.

I’ve had to learn many lessons too, like some people don’t want to be helped or saved and it’s actually none of my business πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

That is an especially tough one, but very important πŸ«‚

The ego is hard too shake but if can be done. I remember Ram Dass used to before board meetings sometimes go round the table and ask people to talk about their egoic aspects and get that shit off the table before having a meeting. He said it took forever to do shit πŸ˜…

Haha wow yeah that's an interesting technique. Not sure I would recommend that because once the ego is invited in it can go on forever non-stop.

Might be better to start a meeting with synchronized box breathing πŸ™‚

Voluntaryism vs coercion and power dynamics πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

Yes if you feel the need to have an ism πŸ˜„

Let’s leave it at voluntary association and interaction then 😏
