I’ve been told for most of my life that I need to drink more water. But were our ancestors carrying around water bottles all day? How much water do you drink and do you feel better when you force yourself to drink more? Is it more important to eat hydrating foods than to drink water?

Drink when you feel thirsty, mouth dry or urine darker than usual.

If urine is dark, it means you are dehydrated. Now, water by itself won't hydrate you fully; there are other sources of hydration

Just to be clear it’s usually not dark unless I forget to drink water lol but salt intake seems to affect me more than just water
