Neither are good regularly & both have tradeoffs.
Alcohol is better for social situations but it's a tissue poison & can become social crutch.
Weed is less damaging to your body, especially if it's not smoked, but it can distort your perceptions & thoughts significantly. It can become an emotional crutch while not being physically addictive.
