sounds delightful actually! I’d love to see the flora there. I spent 2 months in a tent in the Mojave and it opened my eyes to how much life there is in arid environments. People always say “there’s nothing out there” but they are wrong.

Was in Cairo nine years ago! Loved it! As it just after the Russian plane exploded after taking off from Sharm El Sheik the tourist spots were empty! That also allowed to mingle in the city, eat at people’s places and meet great people! A place to revisit surely !
