I sometimes wonder why muslims build companies as large as the ones they work for? not everyone understandably is an entrepreneur but muslim engineers are the work horses that build many of the services these companies use.

Tell ˹them, O Prophet˺, “Do as you will. Your deeds will be observed by Allah, His Messenger, and the believers. And you will be returned to the Knower of the seen and unseen, then He will inform you of what you used to do.”

Rug pull in progress...

That's an interesting premise...how are these groups with higher TFR identified? Is there a book from which this theory originates?
What did you use?
It's very challenging when you have responsibilities and obligations to make decisions that seem like a step back at first glance...but in reality it turns out that taking that extra time to put things in perspective (and saving sats) does yield better results. I left an office job for a "blue collar" post and it was the best thing for my mental health and spirit...still stacked sats and didn't even feel the salary drop.

No doubt...I think you can't move ahead without the basics...and the warning call is not just for Turkiye...need to sound the alarm in any and all muslim majority society
Interesting comment on Turkish economy from Cübbeli Ahmet Hoca.
He says, the economy was never so broken as it is today and that there is also a spiritual dimension to it. That the more we sin as a population, the more sickness, poverty and problems afflict us.
And he adds that things are going downhill in Turkish society, worse than they have been in over 100 years, since the end of the Ottoman Empire. He says that the sins of this people have reached a peak in the last 150-200 years, and their worship has reached a low point. That's why inflation and devaluation have also reached a peak.
And he believes that it's not the fault of the state leaders. Because a people get the leaders they deserve. If you mess up as a society, you get a messed up leadership, so to speak.
He says that the average rate of Muslims who regularly perform all five daily prayers is currently around 5% in Turkey. Those who pray in congregation are even less, 0.0xx% among men.
Even those who fast during Ramadan, who were way over 50% in his early years, even if they didn't pray otherwise, are now just over 30%.

There is no doubt that the spiritual dimension of a faith based economy is an integral variable to its development. I think just as consumption, govt spending, investment and net exports are GDP variables maybe we can add Waqf as a measure of societal spiritual connectedness...GDSP
Sobhan Allah...this deen is simple yet it gets over philosophized like some mutant stockholm syndrom memory of collonialist past.
Rationality and behaviour are two different concepts that have their place in understanding economic activity. NeoLib econs are overtly mathematical because their approach to modeling discounts irrationality because it makes the model easier to analyze (quantitatively). But that means that they short change the results obtained from the analysis.
It's funny how these companies come full circle they work supposedly work hard to weed out in their early days fake accounts to keep the integrity of the networks intact...and their downfall will be the very thing they tried to prevent in the first place.
الله أكبر
That visit to Palestine paid dividends. Many muslims will not make the migration over to Nostr just because of reach...people generally prioritize self validation and they wont get much of it here.
Can you think of anything to fix our broken money while you're there? 😉
