Suggestions for using mizuna? Never eaten it let alone grown it but here I am 😂 I could just look up some stuff but this is more fun.

It's great in stir fries. If you throw it in at the end, the leaf will wilt but the rib will retain a little crunch. Same for soups. Don't be afraid to add more than you think you should - it shrinks down a lot when cooked.

Or pair it raw with chopped up bok choy and mix up a sesame oil/rice vinegar dressing and make a sort of Asian-inspired take on cole slaw.

Thanks! I'll try some cole slaw over the weekend.

We’ve been throwing it in our salads this year (at least the red streaks mizuna) version I’ve been growing.

Quite tasty and it provides variety to the green flavor profile.

So is it peppery, like arugula then?

Not peppery but it is mustardy but not spicy. We also have a bunch of red veined sorrel that is kind of tangy.

Awesome, thanks! It looks ready so I'm going to try some this weekend.
