Do you park your dry powder in stables or in fiat? ๐Ÿ’ฐ

How can fiat ever be stable with unlimited supply? Bitcoin is the only true stablecoin.

So you always go all in immediately? Never save some fiat to buy dips?

Lurking. ALL of my fiat goes into Bitcoin other than bills and for basic necessities. Personally, I feel if youโ€™re watching the price of bitcoin, you donโ€™t truly understand the value. Price watching is high time preference. Again, just my personal opinion. Everyoneโ€™s situation is different.

I totally get you point. Ready The Bitcoin Standard right now thanks to #[4]โ€‹ ๐Ÿ™ and beginning to change my time preference.

But since i still have my goal of one full btc, i am eager to use my means in the best way possible to reach that goal before the next bullmarket ๐Ÿ˜…

Great starting point! Bitcoin changes you at the core. Excited for you!

What fiat currency do you use and why would you go to stable coins (unregistered security)

I have non dollar fiat currency where i live. My thought was:

I want to have fiat to buy dips. But when btc dips, dollar rises.

So itโ€™s better to store fiat in dollar because itโ€™s buying power will higher than my native fiat when btc dips.

Fair point but I wouldnโ€™t be too focused on all of this. Just stay calm, DCA your fiat every day, week or month.

Most importantly, donโ€™t over complicate thing. Tried to do that myself. Overthinking and over complicating certain things.

Yeah, i am already on the way to reduce everything ๐Ÿ˜… thatโ€™s where all the question come from ๐Ÿ˜…

Mate Iโ€™ve been there. Panicking that I need to do ridiculous things to stack more.

Just stay calm and humble. Do your best in life trying to bring value to the society. Grow and educate yourself. And just stack Bitcoin for the future.

You will make it brother ๐Ÿงก

Thank you for the encouraging words mate ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿซ‚

As you continue your learning journey, Noerms youโ€™ll become unveiled to the truth. Think about it.. why would you invest in an unregistered security? Why put your money and trust in a centralized entity that hires lawyers, has a board that lobbyโ€™s the WEF and governments for its corporate interests?

This is a war. Itโ€™s a war against globalist and federal reserve enslavement. Itโ€™s a war for the decentralized money of the world and the de-funding of the war machine.

Thatโ€™s some pretty powerful thoughts ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’œ

You are 100% correct. Worrying about the fiat value of bitcoin is how govts and central banks win. A system outside of their control is already priceless. You donโ€™t wait to join a revolution when the time is right. You join and you fight. In this scenario that means relentlessly converting fiat to bitcoin regardless of the fiat value. ๐Ÿค™๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ’œ

This is the way. ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿค™๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

I wish to get that mindset too ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’œ

It will come. My conviction strengthens with every book I read, podcast I listen to, thought experiment I have about the future, every time I see govts acting authoritarian, war without cost, disenfranchised people completely closed out of the current system..the list goes on and on. Bitcoin is needed, it is necessary and every time i convert 1 penny to bitcoin and i am voting with my dollar for the system that I want. Money, not weaponized by the issuer. Inclusive for all and not able to be printed at will and inflated away. Price has nothing to do with my conviction.

Strong ๐Ÿ’ช

What books/podcasts can you recommend for a beginner like me?

For books I would start light and then escalate.

Layered Money, The Bullish Case for Bitcoin.

Quick reads but very deep when it comes to getting a handle on the history of money without being too technical

Then Iโ€™d move to The Price of Tomorrow to get a grip on how deflationary tech and inflationary money are at odds with the population at large and how bitcoin can help (Bitcoin is barely mentioned in the book btw)

Then Iโ€™d go Bitcoin Standard, Fiat Standard, 21 lessons, everything divided by 21 million, The Book of Satoshi and on and on.. podcasts are tricky.. first Iโ€™d read some to see which way you feel pulled to bitcoin.. it touches something different for all of us. Depending on which books resonate with you the most I can steer you from there.. DM if you need to but Iโ€™m always around.

Good luck on your path. ๐Ÿค™โšก๏ธ๐ŸŒž๐Ÿ’œ

Thanks mate, really appreciate the comprehensive list ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿซ‚

Yes. Every paycheck goes straight to bitcoin. Wife takes hers in fiat. She pays the fixed fiat expenses and I take care of the variable expenses and savings in bitcoin. Over the lifetime of the strategy bitcoin will go up so local changes donโ€™t matter much.

Sounds like a good arrangement ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’œ

Eh, stable coins are great because easier to trade quickly.

Yes, especially when there are dips at the weekend ๐Ÿ’ช

Which do you use? I have some usdt and mainly usdc

Never. But If I didnโ€™t have access to $$ Iโ€™d probably have to.

I see. Yes, we have another currency here

stablecoins mimic the value of fiat using cryptography. you get the same basic scam but you take more risk.

usdt is widely used. the criminals try to destroy it.

not easily possible because they are based in hongkong.

usdc is based in the usa. it is smaller than usdt. they will probably destroy it when they issue their central bankster slave coin.

fiat will go to zero. it will take a longer time

stablecoins will go to zero faster

Very useful thoughts ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’œ

Iโ€™ve used stablecoins as dry powder for bigger buys. They work well imo

๐Ÿ™ are you not afraid they are mire โ€žinsecureโ€œ than normal fiat?

Iโ€™ve become more risk averse after Luna, but I have had no problem with them in the past. I only used to try to set a low point on the price. I do more DCA now of days.

DCA with stablecoins or directly fiat?

Fiat with strike

I recently decided to call them 'not-so-stable-coins'. Way better description.
