We can't delete tweets💔
It's a cultural difference here. We accept each other's flaws and we forgive when mistakes are made. We feel no-delete encourages empathetic dialogue.
Even if I added it, at most it would be a “request to delete”, as some relays may ignore deletion requests for censorship resistance.

Deletes are an illusion. Nostr notes are like emails. Once sent you can’t truly delete them since it’s up to clients to honor deletes.

yes my bad i think some services are broken. I’ll look into removing the broken ones. I use https://translation.nostr.wine and it works great
What does this lightning button in Damus do now? It does nothing when I tap. How to zap a post? #asknostr 
Zapping posts is against apple appstore guidelines, you cant in damus anymore. Best you can do is go to their profile and zap there.

you can’t delete notes on nostr, you can only request deletion (not guaranteed to delete). I haven't added it because it would be a lie to call it delete.

I have never once needed to delete a post, can you explain why it’s important?
One valid reason might be someone is in trouble in regressive oppressive regimes like one in Iran. Normally if they are arrested in a protest people report their account or they ask relatives or friends to destroy the account on social media to not give obvious extra evidence to the government.
I mean by that when I post something by mistake or post something and then regret it and want to delete it, that freedom should be
Once a message is sent to relays, that’s it. Like nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s said, you can request deletion but your note exists on multiple independent relays and you can’t guarantee that every relay runner will comply with your request.
With Twitter or gmail, you are trusting that they delete the post, but 🤷♂️
I suppose it would be possible to only write to relays you trust to comply with deletion.
Even that is not effective, because everyone can broadcast the note to his relays
