Here's a hot take that pisses off my carnivore buddies...

Not everyone needs to be carnivore. In fact, we could eliminate 80% of Type 2 Diabetes, Hypertension, Obesity, Fatty Liver & Metabolic Syndrome if people would just eliminate these 3 things:

1. All added sugar and and fruit juices

2. All grains

3. All veg. seed oils

That's it. These 3 simple changes would break the back of our modern sick-care system. Some need to go further (keto), or all the way (carnivore), but most don't.

what are reasons that would make a person better off going carnivore vs just eliminating those things?

Steak fills you up so you don't crave the other things...

Thats it.

Carbs beget more carbs.

It’s all how you manage your eating and how you feel.

When i eat bread. I want moar of everything and feel like shit. So i mostly stay away.

my body felt like it was dying until I added back carbs in the form of mostly potatoes

timing is super important when it comes to blood surag spikes caused by eating simple carbs

Interesting. You went full carnivore?

For me. Best i ever felt. But carbs are okay for me too in small doses

yeah. it was really cool to add things back in one at a time and feel my body react.

potatoes felt like my body just said THANK YOU

I do love mashed potatoes fried in butter.

I freeze dry my garden. So sometimes Ill melt some butter, fry up some onions and rehydrate some squash with mashed potatoes and fry it all together.

As a side to my steakšŸ”„šŸ¤¤

absolutely. protein and specifically red meat is the centerpiece

Yes but having the carb cravings gone is a critical component. Once converted to keto, the term 'diet' no longer fits in my brain. I feel like I am not giving anything up. Just like any other addiction that I overcame.

What’s your word on avocado oil
