Who the fuck is buying ether let alone staking. I just realized I haven’t heard anything about these scams since leaving Twitter.

Unfortunately the incentives will just push further lido centralization. Even Vitalik commented that ETH staking is too much of a technical risk for his stack and so he leaves it unstaked as he doesnt want to risk accidentily slash himself. If Vitalik can't do it right what chance does the average pleb have? None at all, everyone will choose lido, safety in numbers and if the ship goes down we all go down together.
