In a sane world, Bitcoin is Venice would win a Pulitzer Prize. It took me an extraordinarily long time to get through the book because of how dense all the concepts were. It took a while to digest a lot of the content properly. A must read in the knowledge stack. #bookstr

i've had this book for far too long and have not finished it. i need to get back to it.

Same 😁

Well worth it. I get it though. It is some seriously heady reading.

It's a big book

Heavy reading. I loved it, but those two are on a level way above me. Greatly appreciated access to their brains.

Agreed

I also own the book but have not finished it

When I get bored or get lost I tend to just put it down and read something else

Well worth continuing to push. Great rewards.

I plan to get back to it soon

In the building on the cover, I heard the most beautiful music I have ever experienced.

Heading there next week. I cannot wait.

Not sure if it was above my head or if it's needlessly complex.

Seems to be written for people with economics degrees.

Definitely written by incredibly intelligent people. It took some effort and thinking through to fully grasp a lot of it. I am sure my degenerate fiat capitalism background helped me understand a lot of it.

Amazing book

The forward by Alex was great. The rest was so full of academic speak that it was like getting teeth pulled.

There is nothing in that book that reads like anything in academia. It is the antithesis of academia.

Weird. OK, maybe a bad take since I've never attended college - but I've read nearly a dozen Bitcoin related book and this was the only one that was so torturous to digest that I gave up at chapter 8 - and can't recall anything beyond the forward. ... but hey, whatever, I'm a degenerate.

It’s a very challenging read. I agree with you. It takes an extra level or two of comprehension than a standard book. It requires extra work on the reader’s part to fully take in. That work is well worth it though.

I need to get back on this one. Agreed on it being dense! But I regularly think about the first couple of chapters!

Truly an incredible work.
