Have you ever tried Wim Hof breathwork? I do this on a semi regular basis as a practice.🧘

One round of the Wim Hof Method breathing technique includes these steps:

Take in a strong inhalation through the nose.

Let out a relaxed exhalation through the mouth.

Repeat for 30 breaths.

On the 30th breath, exhale to 90 percent and hold for as long as you can.

When you feel your body really needs to take a breath, inhale fully and hold for 15 seconds before releasing.

The basic technique involves three consecutive rounds of the above.

Eventually, the breathing may feel like a wave flowing through your lungs, but this will take practice.

There are tons of videos, and podcasts out there that explain better than me, but I love doing this and wanted to share perhaps to inspire someone else into trying it #grownostr #breathstr

I read up on it a number of years ago and did it for maybe a week and that's it. I never did try an ice bath, although in the summer I do take a fairly cold shower often - not that this is exactly the same.

Cold showers ftw πŸ™Œ

I love Wim Hof! The breathing and cold showers helped cure my asthma and chronic fatigue. I swam in the cold ocean water all winter, and it’s absolutely exhilarating

That is fantastic! Ocean water is great for you, better in the cold! It is a goal of mine to have a house with a lake primarily for swimming purposes in the winter πŸ˜†

I did daily this winter in my home tub from December through February. It feels amazing 🀩

interesting, thanks for sharing! I've heard about the man and cold showers, never heard abouth breathing. I'm definitely going to make some research on this!
