Very true.

Though I'm far from some weird elitist; I'd probably use stock android if I was a full-time dev for it as well.

Until I make enough money to own 2-3 phones ;)

Android is the way. I want to be able to do things with my phone (pocket computer). Used an iPhone many years ago for work and really solidified my dislike of them.
