I’m trying not to freak out 😓😥😰😨😱😱😱 but something looks very strange in my starter. It looks a bit like mold, and the smell is off.

I scooped off whatever was on top and took a little from the bottom to refresh it.

I also pulled out the dehydrated starter from earlier this year and fed it with a bit of honey.

Hopefully one of these comes back to life for me! Fingers crossed 🤞🏽
