Did Alby add Nostr support or are you just sending sats?
You can add you Nostr private key there e and use to login
It's integrated with #[5] for example when you use Alby for key management. Zap icon on note opens Alby to zap sats... You can add a comment in Alby for the zap, not sure it's visible on the receiving end. At this time Iris doesn't show who zapped and Alby doesn't show who zapped me. Has its own appeal, really.
Today I zapped myself and my alby name showed but the note I wrote did not show up
I have had a few people who tried to zap me and said that it didn't work so IDK about that, but I could zap myself. If anyone wants to try and zap me to see if it goes through I'll zap you back.
Alby isn't NIP-57 supported yet so you're basically just tipping through Alby at this point, not Zapping.
Ok, so if I ZAP someone using the ZAP button with Alby it's going thru? Like the same as using the tip button?

Not sure. I have a zap button on iris.to and when I zap someones post alby opens automatically and allows me to send sats immediately

You are sending and receiving sats as Lightning tips, just not zaps. It's a bit confusing. Keep doing what you're doing. Eventually Wallet of Satoshi will add full support and then you'll see the difference.
So is the idea of NOSTR that you pay for good content?
No it’s just social media controlled by no one. There may be an incentive to post cool stuff tho given that zaps are possible with the world’s best micropayment infrastructure. Think like Reddit gold. Play around a bit & see what’s up!
