curious of the systems you have in place, because from my experience, systems work better for me than targeted goals for development

I don’t rush anything. Nothing worthwhile and of value happened in a rush.
Mindfulness is also one. A constant self awareness of actions, thoughts, feelings and emotions and being able to know when and what the limit is.
I don’t think there’s a formula. Just be in the moment and aware of yourself.
i've become a lot more stoic in the last part of the year, pivoted my attention towards things i have control over, while not having my feelings rely on the external.
it's an interesting take on the rush thing. sometimes that sudden panic brings out things that you didn't know you were capable of, but i think the rush you're talking here, is to just have low time preference, and act with that in mind
are there any interesting books that you've read that have made you come to that point regarding mindfulness?
I think my experiences led me to become stoicism without knowing it until someone close to me told me so.
I’ve always enjoyed Marcus Aurelius -Meditations and Seneca’s- On the Shortness of Life
Agree that systems > goals, as systems that produce consistent micro outcomes almost always get you to the major outcomes you're going for (goals).
I also think too many people limit their world by being obsessed with specific outcomes and miss the serendipity that creates most of the things we look back on as our favorite things to happen to us.
i find that being so singularly focused on a direct goal often makes you not appreciate or even experience certain other positive outcomes that may come from the pursuit of that specifc goal, that you would, were you just have a system in place for it
