i always hated the phrase "Life's not fair", but i've recently come to understand that i just hated the people who told it to me

people who justify being unfair and cruel to others by using that phrase as their mantra

or those who brush off someone's issues because since life isn't fair, we don't need to care

nowadays i see the value in seeing the phrase used as a way to challenge yourself to push through difficult things

i'll amend the phrase like this "life's not fair — yet"

even if we can push through our own struggles, we need to do everything we can to make it fair for everyone

hmmmmm, but what about the unfair people? shouldn‘t they get fucked?

Yes. Fuck these people.

My solace is knowing they have the misery of having to wake up everyday and be who they are.

Imagine that.

But thank them in some ways, for they remind who not to be.

Be better than them.

We should always strive to be better.

Perdonal development and responsibility allows us to become better.

Unfortunately we do have egoists out there who are mostly just insecure and just kick down on people who climb the ladder, or just systematic problems related to inequality. I've seen people just be nasty and it's hard to shake off.

Jokes on them, the ladder sucks, the rat race sucks, false images of progress sucks. Define ourselves unconventionally and it will save us a life of misery.

spot on. very impressive for recognising your blind spot or biase to the phrase. 👏🫂☺️

My take:

Life may not be fair sometimes but we can ensure that our actions are fair and wholesome.

Sometimes it's for learning and CD, but sometimes some people are just s*t. Cancer also mutates and reproduces, from dead horse especially. What it lacks, is their own spirit. It doesn't produce original and useful for others stuff. It's always difficult to communicate with it and discuss something in constructive manner, no matter what context is. They basically eat their own s*t. Best thing is ignoring it. If it's aggressive, then learn and utilize it.

There are both masculine and feminine spirits.

Life is indifferent at best and then there are humans with intentions. It’s fair in terms of physics laws though. But then ”human fairness” is a low entropy state which requires energy to keep it low, if hoomans stop caring about it it disappears. (Hey look at me know-it-all)
