I used to golf with my dad and cousin every few weeks in summer. Expensive, crowded, we were never good but had fun. I started taking my boys disc golfing when they were 10-11. 7 years later we disc golf 3-4 times a week in summer. Great course within our range. One son does regular round, and then a jogging/sprinting round for conditioning. He loves it. (24 minutes, 18 holes, 5 over)
Wow! LOVE to hear it.
The regular round + a jogging and sprint round is such a great idea. I’m going to try that the next time I’m out by myself 🤙
Also when you say 5 over. Does that mean you’re getting +5 on the course? If so, that’s insanely good!
Yea, he shoots around -4 to Even on regular tees, 5 to 10 over on speed round, and 6-12 over par from pro tees. I'm old and I'm between 5-10 over on regular tees.
