The symptoms of disease often linger long after the pathogen is gone.
It’s just funny. A tiny cohort of edgy progressives used that word for about 5 minutes circa 2016. Ever since, that word has been entirely a fixation and obsession of reactionaries.
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo it’s not a parasitic mind virus, it was a tiny fringe idea from 2016!!
That’d be the convenient way to view it. It’s bizarre and concerning to me. It’s probably virtually impossible to narrow down a definitive reason for how pervasive it’s become

It's not enough for it to go, we have to reflect on what it was, how it came to be, and ultimately why it came to and end, otherwise we are doomed to repeat it in the future.

It's like all of the fiat money printing, you can only escape reality for so long, and everything that the woke crowd espouse is divorced from reality, as is evidenced with their obsession on censorship, they literally can't win a fair argument on an even ground.
They are often afraid of argument and debate.

It's only made to seem big because the media focuses on it so hard, but normal, day-to-day people you meet will tell you that woke stuff is batshit crazy. They are the loud minority
