This doesn’t indicate that Lightning is not successful. The problem is that zaps are one of the few things that most people can do with Lightning. I would be quite confident that I could make payments of up to maybe $200 from my own node which would cover 99% of my day to day spending. But paying with Lightning or Bitcoin isn’t an option. Until there is any meaningful adoption of Bitcoin for payments then the majority of Lightning use will be for small payments like zaps.
