Many of the nostrati (not the joking nostrati, but the ones with the influence on the purse strings, that whisper in the ears of the VC bros) can't stand being told truth about themselves, their (very poorly executed) code, or their obviously sycophantic behavior.

They keep changing the rules.

They mute those they can't face.

They crow louder in their egoistic circlejerks.

And eventually, they ARE gonna miss it.

We are building absurdly functional, aesthetically pleasing interfaces that will run on exceedingly efficient back ends that can and will scale to BILLIONS (if not trillions, in time) of events that anyone, anywhere with an internet connection or, if patient, radio coms, can interact with via all the standard nostr stuff (quoting, commenting on, liking, zapping, forking, etc.)

And, we're gonna make money doing it. Not fake fiat (although we will accept fiat, for now, too), but hard money, and with that we will power our carefully directed steampunk steamroller over anyone in our way, because they don't like what we are doing or how we are doing it or that we say that they are being retarded about doing it their stupid, sloppy, sycophanty way.

I've been watching this play out across a couple of apps related to nostr recently. It really feels like a "you can't play with us because your toy is cool and I don't want others to notice you instead of me" kinda world around here.

Thankfully, the people that act like that aren't npubs I follow or interact with. (I may even have at least 1 muted.)
