But I haven't used Mint for a long time... Thankfully there are plenty of great Linux options for everyone's out there!
Everyone I know who started with Ubuntu variants .. ended up using #Debian !

Please consider using another Linux distro. Linux Mint is not safe, or secure.
To confirm this information for yourself. Please download and run the application etherape. Monitor your network connections for about 20 minutes. Take notes of all the connections it makes and research the domains. Don't panic.
