I do not want to kill homosexuals, I want those who have gay sex to be put to death by the official magistrate after a fair trial in the courts, and those are two very different things.

This may be hard to understand in our fake and gay times, but I simply want to see the law conform to God's word. I hate homosexuality, and I love justice.

“If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.”

- Leviticus 20:13

“Hate evil, love good; maintain justice in the courts…”

- Amos 5:1

“To fear the LORD is to hate evil"

- Proverbs 8:13

There is much wisdom in the Old Testament, but Christ fulfilled the Law. We're not Jews+Jesus, and the Lord said that Justice is His.

[[book:: bible | Romans 12:18-20 | DRA]]

The Church has our own way of dealing with people living in egregious sin and refusing to reform, or at least make an earnest attempt to avoid scandal.

Hint: it's not capital punishment.

Absolutely. We aren’t a theocracy. By being a part of Israel, they were under many special laws. Saying we should kill sinners directly goes against Paul in 1 Corinthians 5 where he says we shouldn’t judge those outside the church for sexual immorality. Of course they will be immoral. Never does the New Testament advocate that we should root for these sorts of laws.

You are quoting Old Testament civil laws that applied only to ancient Israel, not to modern governments. The New Testament clearly teaches that Christians are not under the Mosaic Law (Romans 6:14; Galatians 3:24–25; Romans 7:4–6).

When the Pharisees tried to enforce Old Testament death penalties, Jesus refused (John 8:3–11). Jesus never commanded the state to execute sinners. Paul never instructed governments to apply Levitical law. Instead, the New Testament consistently calls for mercy, repentance, and love (Matthew 5:44; Luke 6:36).

Homosexual behavior is a sin according to Scripture, but the New Testament teaches transformation, not execution (1 Corinthians 6:9–11). Christians are forbidden from judging outsiders (1 Cor. 5:12).

So your desire to put people to death directly contradicts the teachings of Jesus and the Apostles.

Psychoanalytic theories usually postulate that homophobia is a result of repressed homosexual urges or a form of latent homosexuality

Latent homosexuality can be defined as homosexual arousal which the individual is either unaware of or denies

"I don't want to kill gays, I just want gays to be killed". This is deranged.

I dislike gay stuff as much as the next guy. Yes, it's a horrible sin.

Yet, we probably should try other options before that death sentence. St Paul talks about repentance and seems to have accepted repentent people in the church, if I am reading 1 Corinthians 6:9-12 right.

Jesus taught forgiveness not murder.

If you believe people's hormones are off causing them to be gay, then that is not very fair. The sick culture is causing their problems. Have a little grace.

Are you Jewish? You follow the Old Testament and not the new?
