Try grounding (earthing) I bet it will reduce your gout by at least 50% within a week

Exogenous ketones block the nlrp3 inflamasome. You can prolly buy betahydroxybuturate (bhb) at any GNC or vitamin shop. πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€

Have you tried them? I've heard they taste like crap & might cause your crap to be runny if you over do it. I am curious if there are any noticable benefits aside from potentially helping to address some specific problem.

I wonder if fasting for a day or 3 would solve the gout issue just as well with *endogenous* ketones as opposed to the store bought kind...? Idk, how fast someone drops into ketosis when fasting vs consuming ketones.

I had gout once & never had it again after I cut the carbs & most of the "plant based" trash out of my diet. If you're eating anything soy based or high in oxalates I would start by eliminating that. Sugar, grains, alcohol, & seed oils are all inflammatory tho.

Lmfao. Yes I've tried them. I've tried a few brands, some are better than othersπŸ’―, but they do taste terrible. You can also find them in pill form which makes it easy. Or drink butter coffee with MCT oil but i don't suggest that usually off the top bc it can give you intense mud butt. When I was getting into the keto diet i experimented with a few different things. And took a deep dive into physiology.

My father gets gout every once in a while and drinking the exogenous ketones stops the pain. Genetics play a role but so does eating inflammatory foods and drinking certain alcohols.

I suggested the exogenous ketones bc if your not already metabolically flexible and or used to fasting it will take a week or more to get into a deep ketosis with high levels of endogenous ketones. Also the exogenous ketones can be used to minimize the impact of the keto flu or as an energy booster for exercise or focus. It's s way to cheat your way into having the anti-inflammatory effect of ketones or to pump those ketone levels when already in ketosis.

Dietary ketosis is my favorite metabolic state πŸ’―.

Thanks for the info 😊

I had gout once, it freaked me out. I started drinking alcohol less and more water. Ymmv.

Hope you feel better soon and the end of multiple setbacks πŸ«‚

I was going through some of the body health recovery through food and exercise videos and came across this - thought of you!

In a nutshell, this one talks abt boosting up potassium, nitric oxide and reducing sodium - Dr Berg has a lot of natural food options instead of medication. There’s another video on red light therapy and electromagnetic field at very low freq. Balancing electrolit is also important (we normally consume coconut water for this), and if you are insuline resistant gotta reduce carb and sugar. As a precautionary, I also take apple ciders in the mornings and load up with zinc based food. On reducing sodium, probably only if you are salt sensitive or having gaut. Sea salt has its benefits.

Something to be cautious abt is the high number of high blood pressure cases that is related to gaut. Maybe the multiple setbacks ? Hope things are easing up. Andrew Huberman has a a lot of good videos on natural health techniques.

Not sure if any of this is helpful but hope you feel better soon!

Thanks for your concern, but it was short lived. One day of strangely sore foot, one night of hard-to-touch foot, the next day of walking in short steps on the side of my foot, and after the next night it was mostly gone.

So I started skipping breakfast again to extend my fasting period to 18 hours, and for a different reason I've also given up dairy products. I feel really good today.

That’s good to know! I think gut health has a huge impact on an individual
