who here does an end of year review of their life/goals?
Discussion
I used to.
Now I do bitcoin halving cycles or a decade for my big one.
People overestimate what they can do in a year and severely underestimate what they can do in a decade.
I keep a daily journal (1 month = 1 journal) and I’ll do a quick flip through of each at the end of the year. There’s a TTD page, a State Of page, and a Marvelous Moments page for each month, which are good at showing what happened at a high level. For daily pages, color and size of font emphasize what I considered important at that time.
That’s a whole lot of journalling
It’s part planner, part journal, part record of the day. Sometimes I feel as though I haven’t accomplished anything but then I can look back through one of these notebooks and see the reality that I actually did do quite a bit. 🙂

I share the same feeling of discovering those when chatting with friends that I don't speak often. I got surprised as well
Always a good practice. What habits did you gain, which did you shed? What did you learn? How did you grow?
Life goals are opportunity for failure to emerge, which is okay. Building a good system is a better approach. I like to use bookends to set new challenges, build new habits, excel in areas I didn’t do well at before.
Next year is gonna be great, but we’ll take it one day at a time 🤙
Not formally but I do find that it is always a time that I reflect on the past year and think about plans for the next year.
Yep, nice.
When was the last time you did something for the first time?
always learning. Green = growing đź’Ş
That’s an interesting question. I think for me recently it has been more working on refining and improving things that I am already doing. Still always open to trying different ideas, experimenting and learning, but nothing radically different.
Definitely would love to this year
