I'm using subaccounts for a few friends and family in my Alby Hub. Is there a way to keep on top of which sats are mine and which are theirs? It doesn't appear to be full isolation? I know I can log into my node and view their balance, but I'm a little concerned I may overspend. I don't want to be running some sort of fractional reserve node 😂 .

This is honestly why I’ve enjoyed LNbits over Alby. You can manage the reserves percentage a little better in LNbits; but Alby works great with nostr, always tradeoffs with each software but I really hope it doesn’t default to allowing under collateralization

I don’t know about isolation; but there is a bit more information. There’s a section on LNBits that calculates the nodes reserve percentage, which depends on how many sats users have in their wallets.
Ah I see. That's a nice feature. I'll have to be super diligent, or maybe I'll take a look at LNBits to see if it better meets my use-case. But I think what I'm really looking for is isolation, which as I'm learning requires me spinning up another LND node? Thanks for bearing with me, I'm still learning haha.
Isolation as far a users, wallets and accounts are all there. The plug-in’s really help a lot of use cases! But I do love Alby for the NWC 🙌
Tech noob question. What is isolation?
AlbyHub has a concept called SubAccounts, where you can create separate wallets for friends and family associated with your own hub. This makes it easier to onboard folks to Lightning without them having to spin up their own nodes or custodial options (they can trust me instead). They only have visibility into their own transactions and can only spend their own wallet balance. I however, see the full balance. As you can imagine I don't like this and was hoping for more isolation from the subaccounts. It could be me being a tech noob and missing some critical details about this feature. I just don't know if Alby will allow me to dip into their balance, that would not be good.
Oh, ok. That actually appeals to me. I have albuhib for this acct and business/website. But would like to set my wife up as well, so that would be of benefit to us.

Don't use your main node balance as your spending wallet. Set yourself up your own "sub-account" and use that as your wallet. Don't worry, you can switch to using that with your Alby account so that your zaps go there.
Your main node's balance will always show the total outgoing liquidity available on your node, so there is no way to make it disregard liquidity that is earmarked for your sub-accounts. Instead, it is better to just give yourself an isolated balance, just like you have done for your friends and family.
