Has anyone tried a beef based protein powder? (Like this: https://www.equipfoods.com/products/prime-protein-beef-isolate-protein?variant=42042295582898)

If so, did you like it?

Context: I feel like absolute garbage. I've never liked meat and won't eat it. But I'm willing to try something like this to feel better. My joints hurt. My energy levels suck. I'm sore a lot. It's hard to focus. I'm irritable. I think I'm just malnourished but I have an appointment scheduled for an exam, labs, etc.

I do eat eggs and butter. I just started using whey isolate and collagen from Transparent Labs and some other gap fillers, but it seems like beef powder would have more built into one product since it's the whole animal.

Thoughts and opinions appreciated.

Have you looked at Jack Kruse.......hes very much an advocate of sunlight, distroted circadian rhythm due to excess fake and not enough natural light etc.,andon the food front, seafood should be the focus..broadly, you cant get better in the same environment you got sick in. Something needs to change

Bacon 🥓 pork🐖fish 🐟fowl 🦃hard cheese 🧀. Good luck 👍

From my understanding the eggs should set you right as a meat avoider, so I would think it's less about that and more about what you're replacing meat with - if it even is a dietary issue. Good blood work tells you a lot though, it's probably the next step and only sure way to find anything out.

Equip is one of the least-bad protein powders out there, but even it pales in comparison to meat/eggs. Many people have mild inflammation from whey isolate.

Please understand how ridiculous it would sound if a talking cow said, "Ive never liked grass and won't eat it!" That is the equivalent of a human saying they won't eat meat. Only sub-optimal health can follow.

Keep revisiting meat and re-trying it every month or 2. There will NEVER be a protein powder than can replace the nutrient-dense, ancestrally appropriate, uninflammatory nutrition-matrix that is meat.

Bone broth is a collagen powerhouse, nutrient rich and helps with gut health from gelatin.

I'd look at environmental things, like air you breathe, especially at home. And your immune system.

I rarely get sick and my entire home is air filtered. Diet is the most likely culprit I've come up with. It isn't shocking. I already know I don't eat enough some of the nutrients I'm supposed to. And the symptoms align. I just wanted to know if anyone has tried beef based powders so I know what to expect.

Probably is better to eat what you can cook yourself. At least you know what goes in there. I wouldn't fiddle too much with things like whey protein, hydrolisates or even beef powder.

Get a good medical check up is you can. I'm not a medical professional and better seek advice there in first place.

I still stress to look into IAQ including particular matter (dust), all fractions.

In regard to indoor air quality in my case it was revealing to get sensors measuring that. Even if it's not very accurate it still some point of reference. I found for example incidentally high radon levels which was confirmed by a professional measurement.

If you have air-conditioning that might be in turn potential source of problems. Usually related to maintenance of such. I do not know your setup, just guessing and I'm likely wrong. I do not know what you mean by _filtered air_. Is it air purifying system?

Good thing is if you're able to simply open windows to ventilate, on condition that you're not in too polluted area.

Sometimes shit can permeate from your neighbours, who for example like frankincense or air fresheners. They would not be able to distinguish between freshener and sprayed disinfectant containing benzalkonium chloride apart of fragrance and odour neutralisers.

Even if you're not hypersensitive now you'll might be soon.

Just saying. Good luck.
