Extreme first world problem: when you own multiple homes and every time you move between them Netflix makes you jump through a bunch of hoops because it thinks you're sharing the account.

To be fair, I've had access to a Netflix account for over 15 years and I've never paid for it.

Get multiple subscriptions of Netflix.

But then it won't properly keep track of what I've watched and not watched? Would be even more annoying...

Fair point, well made.

Buy the company and instruct the coding department to link two accounts together.

Not realistic

Just buy the entire state of California 👍🏼

Ive read your whole home vpn article...so I would have assumed you already had that issue already solved!

Netflix blocks any IP address associated with a data center, so I can't route my DIY VPN traffic to it.

Could you route netflix traffic from homes 2 and 3 to your nonvpn "guest" network in home 1?

Anyway it’s a waste of time, but you should know it of course

Pirate Bay still loves you though.

You’ve been reading my mail. :)

Never had issues using my account in AirBnBs. I'm actually surprised about that, as I did sometimes forget to remove my account from those AirBnBs. But maybe the kids clean up after me when they run into limits and I just don't use it enough.

It just started becoming an issue a few weeks ago.

Find a different hobby

Set up a wireguard between them, as per your own blog :-)

No nexflix - no problem.

Check your financial privilege.

Tailscale using an exit node at home should work for this? Haven’t tested myself but seems like it should and Tailscale is super easy/free.

Run local Jellyfin 🙂 I even managed to sideload Jellyfin app into Samsung OLED TV

Heck, Hulu Live was a problem for me every time Starlink switched me to a new ground station! I got rid of Hulu Live!

Self host and stream anywhere over your own VPN!

Bernays-Freud Legacy Propaganda & Priming Platform makes us jump through hoops so that we desire access more intensely... who'd have thought? 🤔

This is the sort of comment of a person Id like to follow.😄

Set up a Jellyfin server, it won’t be geo racist like Netflix

Hmmm, I'm still stuck on pirating the entire catalog of my local library system, it's extensive and time consuming. I guess this is also a first world challenge of the agorist kind.

self hosted jellyfin or emby or even plex solves the issue. 😜
