A bought a filter that improves the water quality for my house, including water softness, and it’s a total game changer.

Didn’t realize how shitty my water was.

-Reduced the chlorine and iron, which were measurably bad.

-The softer water makes hair and skin feel so much better after a shower. Not dry.

Is this a filter metaphor???

A is brilliant

What did B do for your house?

Is it one for the whole house? Do you have a link what type it is?

Very interesting

I would like to know these details too please.

We thought about one too. Would be interesting what type/brand of filter it is.

The biggest eye opener for me was how much further soap goes with softer water.

But Lyn if we tested the water after filtration you will find that there is still some contaminants in it.

Clearly that filter does not work and you should just remove it.

In fact you are censoring valid water that someone likely paid to put into the water supply, are you some kind of communist?

Rather than discriminate against certain particles we should just make it easier for them to get into the water and connect any waste pipes directly to the water supply.

Filters are difficult to maintain and can cause bigger problems. Water filters too btw.

That’s part of why I didn’t get one earlier, but the plumbing company is great and we’ll get regularly checkups on it.

Worth it for us.

I’m talking about a literal water filter, not the op return drama lol.

Was about to say, filters work!! 🤣

Don’t let the truth get in the way of a good analogy. 🤣

Greatest investment ever. Everything is about water and the more you improve (intake as well) the better you will be.

Had heard it was game changing on hair/shower. Especially in some other countries with harsher water

What filter are you using?

A Brita Pro

Thank you

Never confuse filtration with flirtation.

Very thankful my household has one. It was night and day different after the installation.

I just got a stainless steel gravity filter with extra fluoride filters. My city has pretty good tap water tastewise but I just didn’t want extra chemicals in the water. Should be opt in instead of opt out

Your podcast appearances are about to get so much better

Stop the censorship :[

They also remove Fluoride I believe

You need reverse osmosis for this. A filter won't do it sadly.

A water softener will not do this

Better for your clothes and fixtures too.

Have you measured the ph?

I've come to appreciate the importance of 7+ on the ph scale.

Otherwise most of what goes into the body comes right out 🌊

All of what goes in the body comes out. Lol

Rain water collection is great for softness

You probably know this, but if it’s a water softener, hopefully it’s adding back minerals. Otherwise I think it’s bad for blood pressure to drink water that’s been softened. I should use chatGPT to confirm but I’m almost positive you already knew this.

Soften water has a little extra sodium in it but not enough to be worried about. If you are, you can use potassium chloride instead of sodium chloride to soften the water.

My trip down the water rabbit hole ended with https://analemma-water.com.au

This house water softener continues to be amazing. Such a boost for skin and hair.

If this whole bitcoin thing ends up not working out, then rather than working at McDonald’s I’m going to go into the water softener sales business!

Hi, that's our trinking water!

Hope no one is peeing up stream

What do you think you're tap water is also about?

Your question makes no sense

Reverse Osmosis?

RO is my pick for best choice… after trying many

Very overlooked subject for many dermatological issues.
