First time making homemade butter! Surprisingly simple to make and tastes so much better than any butter we can buy!

Also ended up with about 2/3 of a quart of fresh buttermilk.

Well then give us the steps and recipe on nostr.cooking ๐Ÿ™Œ

That's what's wild! It's just heavy whipping cream whipped until it separates. Then you wash the butter and salt to taste.

We have a KitchenAid, so I let that do the work. Just pour the cream in the bowl and crank the KitchenAid to as fast as you can without causing a mess.

In about 15 minutes, you'll have butter and buttermilk.

Paddle? Whisk?

Whisk.

I make carnivore whipped cream using a a kitchen aid and whisk all the time. I guess I just need to keep mixing!

what method did you use? making butter is pretty fun but can also be a workout!

Lol, I bet! We used the KitchenAid... I'm not that rustic. I chilled everything before we started to hopefully cut down on some processing time and ran it as fast as I could go without splashing.

I'm not that rustic either. I used a hand mixer. the splashes got outta hand towards the end.

We made it in shaker cup with a ball whisk, 3 of us shaking and the husband hadto finish it because I couldn't get the ball to move past whipped cream ๐Ÿ˜‚.

omg now that's a workout!

Yes, lol ๐Ÿ’ช
