That's what's wild! It's just heavy whipping cream whipped until it separates. Then you wash the butter and salt to taste.
We have a KitchenAid, so I let that do the work. Just pour the cream in the bowl and crank the KitchenAid to as fast as you can without causing a mess.
In about 15 minutes, you'll have butter and buttermilk.
what method did you use? making butter is pretty fun but can also be a workout!
Lol, I bet! We used the KitchenAid... I'm not that rustic. I chilled everything before we started to hopefully cut down on some processing time and ran it as fast as I could go without splashing.
I'm not that rustic either. I used a hand mixer. the splashes got outta hand towards the end.
