A subscription mouse... I have literally never had a mouse break. Or a keyboard for that matter.

The planned obsolescence of computer peripherals is about to begin.
🤨
I have a literally never used an external keyboard or a mouse😂
Kids these days...
I don't think I've ever had a keyboard or mouse on a laptop break either.
A one-way street into enshittification. First you subscribe to a mouse and soon they have a display on it showing you ads that you can remove by taking the more expensive subscription.
my IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0 did not work anymore eventually, but thats after many many many years of intensive use and abuse, and probably a cable problem anyway.
This is.. retarded.
I had 4 mid and high range mouse from Logitech, 3 of them got the left button failing after some years, 3 ones seems to hold longer but I would not bet it pass the 10 years cap.
My high-end Logitech G keyboard have multiple keys failing (CTRL not holding down, some keys double entry...) after like 6 or 7 years, and I'm not even playing that much on it.
Apparently Logitech want to solve with with trash and replace instead of building it to last forever and be repearable.
Guess which brand I will not pick for my next keyboard and mouse...
I have an Amazon Basics wireless mouse that's starting to fail, with the scroll wheel having worn down. Looks like I paid $13.99 four years ago, so $3.50/year.
I've had both, but my Logitech trackball is at least 20 years old and still going strong...
I have a M705 that broke after years of use. Maybe 8 to 10 years. And this week, my G102 broke after 3 years. I was pretty disappointed with that one...
Sounds like they have some work to do to make your stuff break more...
