This is one of those weeks for me when life is just going nonstop. Weeks like this remind me why I love nostr. When I open it, there’s no algo shoving rage bait posts from 2 or 3 days ago down my throat. I just see what people are talking about in the moment, add my thoughts if I want, zap a few posts, and then move on with my busy day. Nostr feels much more “social” in that way than other “social networks.”

Opening Nostr is like calling home. You say good morning, you hear the good and the bad, you throw an opinion or two, and then we wait to hear again from you.
Nostr is the cafeteria at lunch in a smaller suburban high school. Most people know the big popular nyms, and have access to them even though there are different tables with different circles/cliques having different discussions. Very few are interested in starting or participating in a food fight, because this ain't X and we live here. Save that shit for the away game at the rivals school.
