My last tweet before being Sim swapped and hacked on the bird app was a reply saying something like:
Join us on #Nostr.
Would be kind of fitting if that was my last one ever!

NOSTR IS THE FUTURE
Good morning, it would.
Wow. What did you say to mobile service provider?
You should make it your last one ever.
Everyone gets bitcoin at the price they deserve. Similar for those joining Nostr. Welcome. Your journey is complete.
This is the way 😄🔑🤙
Wonder if this is of interest to bitcoiners in USA in terms of a possibly more secure mobile phone service provider.
Hope this is the real you!
After being shadow banned from Elon a year ago left twitter forever.
Hope they didn’t get access to anything important!
Thank you! All good. Only Twitter and I was spending leas time there anyways. Just worry about the scams of my followers there.
Hope you get out of the sim swap alright boss
🔥
The forced reliance on your mobile phone and telco SIM remains the Achilles Heel of sovereign digital identity. That is something that can be fixed with #nostr to gain independence from your phone and telco provider.
Can't understand how sim swapping is still an issue today.
This is the way.
My last tweet on Txitter was my npub🤙🏼

The goal: marginalize alternative voices by targeting them with spam, censorship, hacking, etc.
Stick to Nostr Jeff. Bring your audience here and use those centralized platforms only to siphon their users
For the ones that believe in fate, I’m sure it’s a sign not to go back!
Bummer this happened- maybe you and nostr:npub1d3f4m9dgvkdjxn26pqzsxn6lpfn78sxwllxyt8mp76q0a9zyyjlswhr4xv can do a livestream episode with me and help folks understand how to avoid this in the future as well as how to resolve it if it does since it is obviously an attack vector that we are all somewhat vulnerable to? I hope it gets resolved asap 🙏☮️🧡
Sorry to hear about your difficulties Jeff. Thank you for all you do in this space, guiding people towards abundance. Price of tomorrow has had suck an impact on how many of us think. Hopefully no one was scammed and even more reason to stick with #Nostr only. Have a great weekend.
🧡🙏💜
It’s better here.
If you really must post on the dead bird, you can use connect.nos.social to broadcast your notes there.
Thanks to nostr:npub1wmr34t36fy03m8hvgl96zl3znndyzyaqhwmwdtshwmtkg03fetaqhjg240 and nostr:npub1a8jzweysxa9qmtmht874736aalm0lwdsl306nrys9d05ktlrhw3qcr5pj4 for making that happen.

One delicious thing for me is how Elon killed his bird, but #nostriches doubled down on theirs!
you have the power to make it so
For what it’s worth I added an Authenticator app to my X account as well as deleted my phone number after learning about your unfortunate sim swap. Hope you are okay. 🧡
Sorry to hear about that, Jeff. I do have a twitter account (again) but what twitter used to be vs. what it has become . . . it's no wonder I spend almost all of my time on nostr.
It's the Undiscovered Country.
take the leap Mr. Booth. It is worth it.
One handy trick I learned was that when you get a new phone with a fresh SIM card, not only lock it with a SIM PIN in settings, but call your mobile provider and get their (usually 2 I think) PUK codes. So if you or someone else accidentally locks out your SIM through unauthorized access or 3+ failed SIM PIN entries via your handset, you can unlock it again. Also in settings, turn on the option that requires you to enter your SIM PIN in order to reestablish connectivity to your carrier’s network when you power down the phone and power it back up again. It’s also a good idea to routinely call your carrier or log in to your account admin page and change the account access PIN.
Take the leap! Even for a month. It'll astound you.
What were the consequences of that?
I'm sorry that happened, but this is by far the best way to go 🥹
One step closer to Nostr only 💪🏾
Sorry to hear that...
I am guessing you are never going back there again? AMIR?
Dude. And we just talked about this at dinner. So freaky.
Yup! Pretty sure an inside job at telco.
Are you playing?
That would be tooooo funny
