Perhaps peace is a psyop. Those that are in power have no problem using violence to enforce their worldviews and if not for some extremely violent men in the past, we’d all be enslaved. If we all turn to peace while those that would enslave us still choose violence, what does the world look like?
Discussion
You really took on the name Buddha with zero fucks to give … nice 😊
Which method of Buddhism are you following so I can answer best…
Some of us have been actively destroying and rebuilding the world for many years …
Small towns are circular economies etc.
I took the name Buddha from how I was known on Twitter… I’m not qualified to be a real Buddha. Yet.
I was raised catholic and then turned to Buddhism later in life. Now I ascribe to no singular religion or ideology. I’m just an observer. Flawed human, trying to unwind my personal bullshit and live a happy and fulfilling life.
Peace is most certainly a psyop. It's nothing outside of you. It's an inner state defined by how peaceful (free to choose) your psyche operates.
Nice turn
The prospect of peace is often used to keep people domesticated. This is discussed frequently in civil rights movements. 'Just calm down and stay in your cage.'
The distinction I would draw is between peace as defined from the top down and an actual freedom of choice. The definitions are very important.
It's up to each individual to define what peace means to them, but I truly believe from the core of my being that peace is worth striving towards.
Peaceful towards one another, violent towards governments.. perhaps
There is a time and place for violence, but in my opinion any physical force oriented towards punishment is bound to backfire.
Physical force oriented towards ending violence is justified. It's a fine line and very difficult to judge in any general way.
I would also say that trying to out-violence the government is unlikely to achieved the desired goal.
There's something about world peace that feels very 'Brave New World'. World peace but at what cost? Our individual sovereignty? I get similar feels from those who would have us believe we need to assend by surrendering to the God entity.
I experience internal peace, peace within. That peace requires no other entity to conform to my beliefs. I do not have to wait to experience it, I can find it & experience it whenever I chose to.
Know that you can take the life of another while your heart is filled with love for them. Don't ever do it from fear or ego though.

Power structures use violence as an excuse to enact more surveillance and more restrictions of freedom. In response to violent terrorist attack citizens are fearful and will accept the restrictions and more laws to feel safe. Peace is the only way.

What people reject to understand, is that the only reason terrorists, mafia or any wrongdoers exist is those that "protect" them. Absolute majority of wrongdoers directly created, trained, managed and financed by the "protectors". That is how they create controlled opposition for themselves. This is how they ensure any other attempt of opposition are weak and easily destroyable.
Andrew Tate explains relationship between violence, peace and power the best of all philosophers, sociologists, and political scientists. In his Emergency Meetings and other videos on Rumble Tate Speech by Andrew Tate. You can argue his views on women or specific definition of happiness, but he makes a lot of sense in everything else.
