People chirp damus for being slow on features, probably because I spend so much time making it fast and not laggy. This will always be the priority.

Handle it πͺπ½
the right thing
People ask for features but reliability often has a bigger impact on experience.
it's working well indeed ! congrats again ππΌ
Slow!? They mad. What features they need? Damus A.I. assistant? π€£
I swear some people got way too much free time.
Underappreciated. Nothing worse than a laggy app
I built damus because none of the clients I used at the time could handle my volume of posting. They all crashed π. Great thing about having an account with a large number of interactions is that I can optimize it in realtime.
This app is awesome. Keep it up. I love your strategy.
Thank you πππ§‘
βSlowβ but steady wins the race
Iβd like them literally try ANY other client & see how buggy n laggy they are compared to Damus
Amethyst, too?
(I havenβt used it.)
Not a droid user, Iβve only tried desktop & iOS apps
I love that itβs your priority because itβs truly all about a smooth experience at the end of the day, you can have 100 cool features nobody else has but if you lack the smooth experience itβll all be for nothing

The engineering part also matters π
I just logged into Bluesky for the very first time and I immediately noticed how buttery smooth it was compared to my Android Nostr apps Amethyst and Plebstr. A good user experience is paramount. This includes smoothness and no lag. Keep up the great work, I assume π My Damus usage is limited to you giving me your iPhone at Nostrica.

Features 2nd, Reliably 1st π€
I prefer stability over features. You are doing it right! π

this is the way
Sound foundations survive the storm(s). Weak ones bend a need.
Weβre exiting a period where this is π― verifiable and on full display.
The platform era provided a series of endpoints for collecting the people under the most likely candidates to bend a knee. When Big Brother came calling it was game over.
thatβs why I love it
That's why I run it addition to other clients. I love the topology of nostr.
