Good luck with Instagram, I'm slowly building our Instagram page and it's growing just slowly. Might help if I did reels but I've been super resistant to them for some reason. Hoping I can get over myself for my husband's business.

I am only doing it for work. I have zero need for either platform for myself.

Yeah I only tend to use it for our businesses and to keep up with friends and family.

You would be surprised how many views a reel can get. Also, do you have a Facebook page? You can instantly post the same content to both from Instagram.

As far as your original name goes, pick something you like. A local point of interest is always a good start. What is your area known for? We named our company after an old local mountain pass that is know for a rather large herd of elk and is a hunting destination in Washington. FWIW I really like Bighorn Electric. Might be the hunter and outdoorsman in me though.

We do have a FB Page...Currentlt working on integrating the accounts.

My husband is an outdoorsman as well, I actually did go through and just put different things for our area with electric and that's the one he liked the most, apparently sounds better than Pronghorn Electric or Jackrabbit Electric! 🤣 There is a lot of hunting in our area so it fits.

When I finalize our marketing I'll set up both a Instagram and Facebook accounts. Our area is pretty rural and Facebook groups seem to be the best way to get in front of a lot of people, that and word of mouth, which he already has some from the little bit of work he's done.

I'm thinking I'll take some video of the next install he does and turning it into a reel to start.
