Also there's this awesome phenomenon in chemistry, where a newly synthesized chemical will be difficult to make at first, with wildly varying properties, and over time the exact same process repeated many times produces it more reliably and with the same properties.

i like them better than quantum uncertainty as a model, because morphogenetic precisely points at the idea of the intersection between model and phenomena
this reminds me of a spinal surgeon's video making the rounds a couple months ago. He said that he would ask his patience about their life, their diet, how social, how healthy, were they happy. If they were in that category , most of the time they healed by themselves before the surgeon could do surgery.
if the person was not healthy, not in good relationships, etc, even if he did the surgery, the pain would return.
it's quite extraordinary, really... and people are weakened by bad social situations, and solitude... but even those things can be overcome
solitude. you just reminded me of someone's note on here comparing humans to those giant redwoods that are all connected by their roots... it does make sense when I think about it, I have a tendency to separate humans from nature, but it makes sense that we would be connected like that.
yeah, i deal with people, but mostly only from my tippie toes of my redwood roots, if you know what i mean... in 2021 i consciously kept myself from getting caught up in other people's stuff because of the way it had predominantly been an abusive situation that would pull me in
now, i don't have any friends, but i don't have any abusers either
i'd like to have some friends but i think the thing is i'm in the wrong place and i'm still not fully healed, and i won't be until i really finish my work and get my damn goat ranch... and then maybe i'll reach out to people again, i will have to, because they will share boundaries with me
