Kimchi is a probiotic, plus it is spicy which is a treat for me living in Japan. Japan isn't known for spicy food, even wasabi is used very sparingly.

I will have to humbly ask my wife, she is the master of the kitchen. The Japanese food is amazing but it takes time to adjust to the gentler tastes.
