Besides that there is a massive abundance of fruit and honey on the island.

You eat the fruit and honey all day, then have your glass of milk and meat before sundown.

After 6 months, you are rescued. You are (A) incredibly obese or (B) incredibly lean?

Fructose is better processed with the fiber in the fruit. Maybe dial down the quantum of honey

but can we attribute this more to simply eating real food that is available or are you convinced the timing of it is everything.

I'm convinced humans don't need to think AT ALL about diet if they're eating what's around them.

Not sure the timing truly matters, especially without artificial light, the body will drive you to consume what it desires during the day.

Under no circumstances would you be obese in this situation. This is a very satiating diet so your body would signal that you’re full long before you over-consume. Additionally, you’d be burning a ton of calories hunting the animals for meat.

Obese because you didn't consume 7-11 servings of grains per day like the pyramid says so

Lean I think. People are obese from seed oils, carb saturation, and processed sludge. Doesn't help that they do nothing strenous.
