What are we looking at?
A BitBox dev board?
Yes, a dev device and its case. I wanted to see if I can get some Cashu stuff done with this π₯π€ͺ
Best HWW out there ππ»
Have you tried seedsigner.com ? I think ITS way better then a regular HW
Not a fan of using general purpose hardware for my savings
I can't seem to understand this logic π€·ββοΈ
I prefer the bitbox bitcoin only hww for its simplicity. Fewer lines of code and features reduce the amount of attack vectors. If you add complexity (features) you introduce unknown variables. Get your bitcoin into self custody anyway you can, but if you have a choice I prefer bitbox or cold card as the best possible options.
If they made one that look like this and had a touch screen to input PIN/unlock password, it will remove the largest flow in UX for this wallet. I hate to enter the password with this side touch bar, which take ages.
Actually I always thought the same. However when trying the Safe 5 I noticed that for a touch screen to properly work it needs to be big enough aswell. I really didnβt like the Safe 5 UX.
Maybe this could be something for a larger future model though
In this case it might not be an improvement. I really love the UX with scrambled PIN entered blindly on the PC like Trezor One (and 3 I guess) but I don't know if it's somehow less secure than PIN on device.
Otherwise I use a Specter DIY, definitely not the most user friendly experience for begginer bur super cool for advance user, the screen is like a smartphone screen, with plenty of space for fat fingers.
Me too :(
