Isn't the raison d'etre of bitcoin to essentially be the headless body? Isn't that the entire reason for it's existence? I think bitcoin (or any decentralized value) is supposed to, at it's core, eliminate trust in humans in favor of verification by trustless algorithms. As such, I think your opinion better applies to the world the decentralized cohort is attempting to exit.

Very unpopular opinion, bitcoin is functioning and continues it’s steady growth without a central point of failure.
We don’t need anyone to control our money, however we need people to continue building layers on top of a base layer (bitcoin) that doesn’t have someone controlling it.

Disagree. Bitcoin was a 0 to 1, a new paradigm based on decentralized consensus and censorship resistance. The conventional way of thinking that ideas continuously need a leader is presently being disproven by bitcoin working and increasingly being used. It's hard for people to understand this. This is also the reason why we as a society have no idea how bitcoin will change the world. That's what a paradigm shift is.

Body can’t function without a head - that is true but not for every organism :) bitcoin is not like a human body - it is more like an octopus’s body (maybe there is a better analogy but I don’t have one now). octopus has its neurons distributed across the whole body, and 2/3 of all neurons are in its limbs. Octopus has partially decentralized nervous system 😊 so it’s not a perfect analogy but a decent analogy. Also imagine an organism which has fully decentralized nervous system. I can think of one , can you 😉?
