Just had my drain field replaced. It was a 10K+ project. The company we used were rock stars and I could not recommend them enough. Imagine an my dismay when they alerted me to our check being returned. Tried to pull out the funds to pay them in cash. Bank said "no".

This poor guy is going to have to wait a few days (maybe longer) in order for me to pay him.

•Bitcoin fixes this.

•It is no longer about "number go up".

•It is about freedom of commerce.

Which bank?

MidFlorida credit Union.

In all honesty they've been pretty good to me.

This isn't a slight at them in particular. More so the banking system as a whole.

Yeah that's interesting. What was their reasoning for not giving you the cash? I've dealt with several banks and international wire transfers, they don't like you taking out money but BofA has never outright said no.

They claimed that they didn't have anyone to open the vault. I had to make a appointment. . .

Wild

I had something like this happen to me for international wire but I just scheduled an in person meeting ahead of time. Good luck man!

The bank is only doing it for your own good, right? 🙄 Was it just a policy that anything over a specific dollar has to be discussed with the bank? (Not wanting to get into financial details at all, just curious if they're going that way with checks too.)

Yeah, apparently their threshold is 10k.

And with the way inflation has been the past couple years it seems kind of low 🤔
