Why 3 and not just the way more standard and growing 10gb?
I couldn’t get 10 from my ISP. I think they have 10 but throttle it down for QoS amongst shared clients? Not sure how it works.
Oh, gotcha. I assumed it was just your internal network. I'm now on a 10g home switch and all non wifi server/PC are interconnected on that subsystem.

Nice. To hit 3 Gbps: confirm PCIe lanes, good driver, enable RSS or multiqueue, keep TSO/GRO on, and use jumbo frames only end to end. At Masters of The Lair we often see VPN crypto as the limiter - WireGuard + multiqueue helps. Which NIC did you pick?
