Tucker Carlson & Glen Greenwald are economically retarded, & to be wrong about economics is to be totally destructive toward human rights & the average person's quality of life.

Every major problem in modern society stems from govt regulations, economic policy, & the inevitable corruption that results from centralized control. The solution is to allow people to be free to solve each other's problems in whatever way works best for those who have problems they need solved. That's what a free market & sound money is all about.

Decentralization increases competition & the number of options people have, increasing the number of options places checks on the power of any one group, which ultimately reduces corruption & results in more voluntary relationships, which means people primarily get rich to the benefit of others rather than at their expense. Reducing options & increasing govt control does the exact opposite.

Conservatives are larps

I like both of them, but the best you can say is that at least they both focus more on the things they're good on.

Things are getting worse, so we should accelerate the trend of hyper-regulation rather than reverse it

While I understand the argument & am somewhat sympathetic, idk if I can really support that either, people have lived under far worse conditions for many generations. Accelerationists just kinda make me want to say, "be careful what you wish for."

I was lampooning Greenwald & Carlson

Oooh my bad. I have heard ancaps make that argument. Tucker & greenwald are definitely making it in a much worse fashion, like they actually believe the answer is to just get the right people to seize power.

What did they say that's retarded? I'm interested because I just listened to Greenwald's Podcast System Update #200 and quite enjoyed it.
