Sometimes I'm afraid to be alone with my thoughts...

I love the new 2025 mantra.

Just pls don’t suggest to use the bathroom without a phone. That’s a step too far
Expand your moments by filling them with silence.

I was at my best mentally and physically doing this daily could careless if I had 1 dollar to my name. They targeted me they wanted to make it all about the money with me so hear I am everything is off the air, nutrients, circadian rytmyn... I'm fucked now..
I was training for marathons and triathlons 4 years ago.. pissed rn about it...
when I post from #amethyst I don't see on my #primal timeline same verified registered primal wallet and nsec... what's going on here amd why does my primal premium never update or clear out notifations? nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg is the place to speak free and not get censored? does primal offer any type of personel cache relay maybe we can pay for to post across #nostr forreal.. Is this place just more google for bitcoiners or for freedom to speak and do our art...
Am doing a lot more of that, and have never run or snowboarded with music, as many like to.
I can’t do that. If I don’t have sound playing, I might start listening to the voices in my head. And that could turn bad. Very, very bad.😳
„Sit in a room with your thoughts, and nothing else.“
It‘s a hard thing to do. I encourage everybody to try it for at least 10 minutes.
Be alone with your thoughts is nothing. I do that often, every day, for free, without any objective what so ever.
Here’s a list of things I find difficult:
Parallel Parking on a Busy Street in Athens, Greece.
Assembling a Tent in the Wind.
Follow the Bible to the latter and become a better man, closer to God.
Carrying 17 large and full grocery bags at Once.
Explaining the Internet to Your Grandparents.
Carving intricate sculptures out of marble.
Performing open-heart surgery.
Tightrope walking between skyscrapers.
Building a watch from scratch.
Painting a hyper-realistic portrait.
Programming a robot by hand.
Forging a functional sword.
Freehand calligraphy on uneven surfaces.
Restoring a centuries-old piece of art.
Glassblowing complex designs.
Assembling a car engine by hand.
Playing a classical symphony perfectly on a violin.
Mastering the art of Japanese tea ceremonies.
Knitting a flawless lace shawl with intricate patterns.
All nice and well but a resounding NO from me on working out with no music. There’s no way I’m going to listen to the sound of celery in a Pepsi can that’s being bent and twisted coming from my joints.
I can drive for hours without any music, just with my thoughts. There are so many things you can plan and organize when you're not disturbed by external stimuli.
*includes sitting in a room and thinking
That last line hits deep
This is tough. Thanks for the reminder. I'm addicted to knowledge and I always have a book, YouTube, or podcast on. 😬
i.e. Raw-dog it.
