Are you going to persuade miners to run knots?

this is not uasf and It’s easier to persuade core to beef up filters rather than persuade miners to abandon core for knots.

Because knots is not as well maintained as core, it’s riskier software and would be expensive for miners to maintain.

Most miners run core!

And even if some miners switched to knots

others could just refuse rpc connection to knots and not see your node on the network as a peer, how is your node going to estimate fees on the network if it doesn’t see all txns in the block?

He doesn't care about any of that, he has no concern about any issues Knots may have, he is hellbent on getting all his viewers to stop using Core. He reminds me of Roger Ver in how misguided he is.

Running Bitcoin Knots 🤙

Been watching your videos for a few years now and have learned a lot. Have to say though, I wasn't a fan of calling for people to stop donating to nostr:nprofile1qqs8suecw4luyht9ekff89x4uacneapk8r5dyk0gmn6uwwurf6u9ruspzpmhxue69uhkumewwd68ytnrwghszxthwden5te0wfjkccte9eekummjwsh8xmmrd9skctcpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhs2juazd a few videos ago. I know nostr:nprofile1qqsqfjg4mth7uwp307nng3z2em3ep2pxnljczzezg8j7dhf58ha7ejgprpmhxue69uhhqun9d45h2mfwwpexjmtpdshxuet5qyt8wumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnswf5k6ctv9ehx2aqpr9mhxue69uhhxetwv35hgtnwdaekvmrpwfjjucm0d5klqft7 has said he encourages devs and maintainers of alternative implementations to apply for a grant. AFAIK they haven't gotten any.

😁

If Bitcoin is supposed to be a permission-less network, the term ‘spam’ feels a little subjective here, and seems to go against the original, censorship-resistant ethos

Isn’t this all part of the process? Might one expect these useless transactions to be priced out when more global trade enters the mempool
