I find quitting sugar is easy but also causes me to feel on edge and easily irritable. Any tips?

Eat an apple to help bridge the gap a bit.
What about instead of completely quitting you just severely reduce the intake and make it more meaningful? Like a little pice of good chocolate after lunch and that’s it.
You need to eat a lot. Any green vegetable 🫑🥒🥬🥦. And a lot of watter or tea 🫖.
You will be great 👍
Increase animal fat intake.
And animal protein. But the fat gives you the energy that sugar used to give.
It's amazing how the body is graving the sugar it's used to receive right? My tip would be to reduce the dose gradually rather than sending your body on a cold turkey because that's what is basically happening.
Watch yourself talk. When you want sugar, make sure yourself talk comes from a place of decision rather than sounding like a victim.
For example:
Victim self talk
*craving comes*
No, I can’t have sugar. I need to stop wanting it.
Decisive self talk
*caving comes*
No, I don’t want sugar. This is why I don’t eat it, because I don’t want it.
See the difference? Good luck fren 🫂💜
Just tell the woman of the house you wanna quit sugar but you need her help to do so. Trust me She's gonna make sure of it
Set aside one day of the week as cheat day. Eat what you want on that day. The rest of the time, know that you’re only a few days out from next cheat day.
Ketosis. When in deep Ketosis I can go days without eating before I feel as irritable as I do when withdrawing from sugar.
I’ve done 2 separate 7 day fasts over the years and I felt great until about day 5 both times. After day 5, my family was begging me to eat more than my own body 🤣
It’s a cliche in Bitcoin circles, but fatty meat is a godsend.
Been there. You need not to starve. Need another source of energy. Protein, fat. Don't get hungry! You're on the right path. Keep going 💪
Have you tried eating dates or dried figs? I‘m eating quite a lot of those to reduce craving for sugar and have the impression it helps.
Take your time, give it time, don't do cheat days, maybe do a cheat 30 minutes but not cheat days. In all of these, ride the waves, gremlin (hunger hormone) works like a circadian rhythm and will soon fade. Getting into ketosis and being fat adapted is the key and that takes a few days to a week.
