There’s absolutely no comparison!

Hotel quality has gone way down. I wonder how much Airbnb and VRBO has affected that. 🤔

Skill, passion and love in your first example and just nothingness with the second.

Look at how much we have lost !!

Beauty vs souless

But the first hotel doesn’t seem to be a budget option.

Today? No. We destroyed money and now nobody sees beauty.

That’s why we’re all here. We need to get back there and fast.

Most of this beauty and richness was also created through work exploitation, imperialism and colonism.

The Holday Inn costs 5x more dollars per night these days, but it's all pointless because everyone who remembers what a dollar was worth 100 years ago is dead

first one is like "Fuck you, I am rich! 🤟", and second one is like: "Our empoyees are corporate zombies; everyone is equal; we will need your urine sample as a part of our KYC procedure."

Wooow hermoso

They arent the same class of hotel though. I can only guess, but I would imagine that the hotel on the left is much more expensive than the one on the right. There are some pretty fancy hotels out there these days. And lets face it, "budget" hotels from 100 years ago were pretty nasty.

its really sad nobody cares about this

Yeah, we’ve gone backwards. Felt the same way when I walked through an ancient Eqyptian art and culture exhibit at the national gallery of Victoria recently.
